Zaydies responsibility against injustice

What is the duty of Zaydi Muslims living in a non-Zaydi society considering that there is no current Imam to be followed? Should they accept the injustice of their society waiting for an Imam to come or they should just try to make a change and bring awareness to people even with a non Alawi/Fatimi leader? If yes, what about if such a competent leader would eventually be trusted and for leading Zaydi community while not being from Ahl al-Bayt's progeny?

You are not in a Zaidi community for you to require an Imam. The true guide for all Muslims is the prophet of Allah (peace and blessing be upon him and his progeny.) call to righteousness according to your ability because calling for good and forbidding evil is a duty for all Muslims. Advise them according to your ability and teach them goodness, prayer, and other things. Zaidism in its origin is following the prophet Mohamad(pbuh&hp) in everything, including calling for good and forbidding evil. If there is evil then give advice and if you can change it then do it and you are rewarded for doing so, and if you weren't able then you have supplied him/her the evidence he/she needs and Allah is their judge.
