Fatwa : Masturbation

Q : What is your opinion regarding the habit practiced by most young people of this era (masturbation)? Does the person committing it sin, and if so, what is required of the person and what should they do to abandon it?

A : Masturbation is haram, haram, haram; this act and trait are forbidden, and the person committing it commits a great sin.
