Fatwa : Women driving cars

Q : Is it permissible for a woman to drive a car?

A : She may drive a car where there is no fear of Fitna for her or exposure to Fitna, and where her mahram is with her.

السؤال:
هل يصح للمرأة قيادة السيارة؟
الجواب:
لها أن تقود السيارة حيث لا يُخشى عليها الفتنة ولا تتعرض للفتنة، وحيث يكون محرمها معها.
