I would like to know the Zaydi view on the book "A Treasury of Virtues-Sayings, Sermons and Teachings of Ali"
By the Sahfi'i judge Al Qadi Al Qudai

I can only write the transliteration of the Arabic, I hope it helps - Dustur ma'alim al-hikam wa-ma'thur makarim al-shiyam min kalam amir al-mu'minin Ali ibn Abi Talib
_____
The author also wrote - al-Shihab al-nabawi.
_____
The author was a shafi'i judge during the Fatmids (454/1062).

Is anything bad reading it though? Is mostly sayings of Ali (a.s) like letters to Ibn Abbas (r.a). He teaching Hussein (a.s) and Hasan (a.s). The narrations are all from the companions of Amir Al Muiminin and it's mostly things he did and said during his tenure as Caliph.
For example - "Poverty strikes a clever man dumb", "If poverty was a man I would have slay him", "People disobey Allah by following corrupt rulers and obeying this Pharaohs"

Of course, there is no objection in reading it! :) If you take some sort of benefit from it, this is fine. However, I would refrain from attributing it to Imam Ali (as) since we don't know if the chains of transmission are sahiih.

And Allah knows best!
