Ahmad Ibn Isa Al Muhajir was created by Mohand
Salam alaikum !
What is the status of Ahmad Ibn Isa Al Muhajir according to zaydi wiew ? Is he considered as a zaydi and a scholar ? I see that some Sunni Ba 'Alawi diverge about his madhab so I wonder what is the opinion of zaydi scholars about him.

I wasn't able to find any written information either by Sayyid Ahmed bin Isa al-Muhaajir or about him so I cannot refer to any text. However, according to Zaydi Yemenis, Sayyid Ahmed bin Isa was a Zaydi who remained upon the madhhab of his ancestors until he died. They say that it was an individual named Faqih al-Muqaddam who in fact abandoned Zaydism for Sufi Shafi'ism. The Ba Alawis hold that it was Sayyid Ahmed bin Isa who did so.

Thank you for your response, it is very interesting ! And according to Zaydi Yemenis, why did Sayyid Ahmad Ibn 'Isa go to Hadramawt and not to Zaydi Caliphate ? For da'wah ?
