السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

I would like to know who was the most pious and beloved companion to our noble prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم . Of course we know that no one was as beloved to him than Imam Ali, but I mean from among all the other companions who was the best ?

All true companions were beloved to the prophet as they should be to all of us. There were situations where the prophet signalled out one companion in a hadith but it wouldn't be fair to say that this companion is the best among all companions. They were all different in their own way that is not to say one is valued more than the others.
