Number of imams in zaidism

As salam o alykum !

Brothers i hope you all are fine and doing well. I had a question in my mind that i wanted to ask you guys about the number of imams.can you tell me that how many imams we had in the past ? is their any number of them ? people who know about zaidism have asked me this question many times .

We say Alayhi Asalam after mentioning Imam Yahya Hamidaddin, Imam Ahmad bin Yahya Hamidaddin, and Imam Muhammad al Badr Hamidaddin, right?

i would add to that that it is very important to differentiate between the zaydi concept of imamah and 12erism.

In 12er imamah it is essential to know and recognize the 12 Imams, so it is a part of the creed.

Zaydi Imamah is only part of the creed in a general way, it is the believe of the right of the ahl al bayt. it doesnt mean that you as a zaydi have to know the numbers and names of all of the imams. it wouldnt make you less zaydi if you didnt know there was a zaydi imamate in the daylamite regions of persia.

so this difference is essential
